We are very excited to share some work with you! We were asked to use a mask or stencil on our work. Hope you enjoy all the great LOs and works of art!

So here I present to you my LO using mask from Studio Calico! I placed the mask in various positions and sprayed Heidi Swapp Color Shine (Amethyst). I love how depending on how much you spray it can make the mask pop more! Masks are one of my new favorite scrapping tools! :) I also used Heidi Swapp Epoxy Words, Recollections Washi tape, Dear Lizzy chipboards, Prima pin, Olibud Crochet flowers and I-Rock jewels.     Make sure you leave a comment on my post by the end of Thursday and you will be entered for a fun prize from me! BLING IT ON BLOP HOP!!!!

Our term for the APOS! Inspiration team has quickly come to a close and we thought it would be fun to do a little blog hop to wrap up. So between the 6 of us we came up with the theme

BLING IT ON!

Each of the  Inspiration Team members were tasked with creating a canvas using buttons, ribbon/lace and bling. I sure hope you take a moment and check them out.

This is my first canvas so I started simple with some items I’m familiar with. I decided to glue some cardstock to the canvas and work from there layering on different inks, paints, lace, bling and buttons!  Hope you enjoy the rest of the HOP!

Dreary Saturday

Here we are, another weekend upon us. There is an amazing Online Crop over at A PILE OF SCRAP! online Forum. Please come and join us for some awesome inspiration. Michelle is hosting it this weekend.

Tams also just posted the weekly challenge. Great oppertunity to get a LO done.

I will be working on a few projects this weekend. Tams' challenge, a sketch challenge, and 2 special surprises which you should stay tuned for!

It's Blog time!!!

This week at A PILE OF SCRAP! Jenn posted a great challenge: use some packaging for a scrappy product on a LO!  This is super neat to see, I love these kind of LOs. Please come and visit us and participate!

LO 1: This was done for Diana's Inspiration Color Challenge to use cream, black and brown!  I loved it!

LO 2: I did this LO at the Late Night Crop, I have yet to title it. Any ideas?

Monday Monday

....not my fave day of the week. But this was a decent Monday if I say so myself.
Weekend started off good. Spent Friday evening with scrapping friends at A PILE OF SCRAP! for a late night crop! I accomplished 2 LOs (minus titles) and willl share them with you all once I complete the titles..lol.  One was for Diana's Color Challenge. If you're interested, pop over to the forum and check it out!

Then on Saturday I was busy with family!
Sunday was dedicated to the Run for the Cure with my Bust Buddies Team! We all did wonderful and raised lots of funds for the great cause! It was great to do it with the great ladies!

Photos will be scrapped and shared in the near future!

Busy busy busy!

Another weekend Crop here and gone. The weekend of the 16th-18th was the online crop at APOS! We had a great weekend and there were lots of PRETTY LOs! You should pop over and check them out.

There is also a new Design Team September Inspiration Color Challennge! Come over and participate and there even is a chance for a prize. I posted the challenge for you to use the colors Purple, Black and Cream.

This coming weekend is the Run for the Cure on Sunday October 2nd. A team from APOS! (Bust buddies) will be taking part in it! Getting excited for the event!

Crop for the Cure Weekend LOs

Hello my scrappy friends!

I'm here to share with you the LOs that I made while attending the Crop for the Cure at A PILE OF SCRAP! last weekend.

There was lots of fun to be had with the ladies on that Saturday.

This first LO was done for the Online Crop I'm hosting this weekend. It is for the Geography Challenge.

For the next LO we were given a sketch created by Vicki from A PILE OF SKETCHES. I also decided to thow in some pink for Tams challenge over at APOS! for us to use pink on any creation and she will donate 50 cents to the Run for the Cure team.

 I did Michelle's September Inspiration Challenge which was to use the colors Green, Brown and Cream in a LO.

 This final LO that I am able to share is for the Online Crop as well. For the Recess Challenge!

Sneak Peak

I had an amazing time at the Crop on Saturday at A PILE OF SCRAP! It was the Crop for the Cure which I'm  participating in with a group of girls from the Forum. I got lots accomplished but am only going to share card with ou for now. Most of the others are for the upcoming Online Crop for this weekend Sept 16th to 18th over at APOS! Come join us for some Challenges, Bingo and some more goodies along the way!

Creative Juices

...have made a return!  I got scrappy yesterday and made 2 cards and 1 LO! I felt so accomplished once I was done. Haven't made some things in a long time!
This LO I made using a sketch from A Pile of Sketches. An awesome new sketch site! I also did Scrapinmamas July Inspiration Challenge to use some stitching on the LO.

A card I made for my Dad for his Birthday.

The Anniversary card was made using Tam's Sept. Inspiration Challenge from A PILE OF SCRAP! It was to use the colors Brown, Cream and Blue. I also was inspired by Tams' August Highlight to use Glubers for the first time to make the flower! They are so much fun to use. I recommend picking some up!

Completed a new LO

I did Diana's Challenge from the A PILE OF SCRAP! Weekly challenge. I used the Glimmermist chalkboard products on my Riff Raff Heart and on my flowers to change their color.

Tomorrow (Sept 2nd) there will be a new challenge posted and we can't wait for you to join us for the month of September!  It's ALL about COLOR!! And we want to see lots of it. Each week a different Inspiration Team member will give you a color palatte that we would like to see you work with!  Pop on over starting on Friday and check it out. There may be a lil something in for YOU!  hehe

Mid week scrapping

Hello wonderful people!!!

How has your summer been treating you? We just got over Hurrican Irene's after effects..all was ok, power was out for a lil while over night.

This week over at A PILE OF SCRAP! Diana has a great inspiration challange for us all! I'll be  getting at this tomorrow on my day off. Can't wait. I love using my glimmer mist products!

Alissa has also just posted some AMAZING upcoming classes and crops. Hope you are able to join us for a few of them!

In a scrappy rut.... :(

Sorry I've been a little MIA!  Been doing lots of running around..just not really scrapping related!  Sad...but true.  There are lots of fun challenges posted on the Forum for you all to join in on!  Please come and join us for some fun.  I did a LO the other night for Tams' challenge. 

Just this past Friday Meg posted a new Inspiration Challenge over at A PILE OF SCRAP!, as well as Michelle posting her Christmas in July Card Challenge.  Don't forget...for every card you create for the Christmas in July Challenges you get a ballot entered for a prize from Scrappinmama.  Woot woot!

New LOs

So I was fairly productive on Sunday for the online Crop over at A PILE OF SCRAP!  I got 3 LOs done for Tams' challenges.

This was the Guess Who Challenge, we were challenge to do some form of hidden journalling.

This was the Pictionary Challenge. We were challenge to do some doodling or drawing on our LO.

This was the first Challenge I did. It was a Boggle Challenge. We took A PILE OF SCRAP ROCKS and had to create a title for our LO out of these letters.

This crop was a lot of fun and there was soooo much inspiration there. I will still be using some of the challenges to create more LOs.

Online Crop Weekend!!!

We were all given this sketch to work with and the paper line I chose was the Fancy Pants line of papers.

I chose the Beach bum line of Fancy Pants Papers, I loved the bright colors and they reminded me of Summer. I tried to keep the LO simple and did a bit of distredding on the papers before glueing them down. I also got some chipboard stickers from Imaginisce to accent my page.

Busy week!

This past week has been busy busy! I finished up the Album I had been working on for my Minister who is retiring. I'm happy with the way it turned out and was glad to have the help of my cousin who is a fellow church member and fellow scrapper! It was a great project, lots of fun!. I didn't take pics of all the LOs but hope to share a few. I also posted this Month's Tutorial over at A PILE OF SCRAP!

All these pages are the album I worked on.

It's that time again!!!

There is lots of fun happening over at A PILE OF SCRAP! and we would love for you to come and join!
